About Live Below the Line

Scott Walsh and Hannah Degotardi have taken on the task of living of $2 per day from May 16th - 20th for all food and drink. 1.4 billion people live on $2, and they make it go much further then just food and drink.

We are living in poverty, for poverty. All proceeds go to the Oaktree Foundation, to help the recently opened school in PNG stay in operation. Kids from Yangis haven't had access to a school or education in over 20 years, until the Oaktree Foundation established a school.

Donations to either of our pages are listed on the right. Thanks alot :D

Day 1

Today so far we have had porridge (which is going to be our breakfast every day). Until recently I had never had porridge and still not a great fan of it.

Lunch will be some noodles, and dinner will be a stew similar to our test cook that is below.

It was encouraging to see that people had 'chalked' over uni (i.e. writing on the ground in chalk haha) saying "can you livebelowtheline.com.au". Its very encouraging to see that people are getting into it and spreading the word.
