About Live Below the Line

Scott Walsh and Hannah Degotardi have taken on the task of living of $2 per day from May 16th - 20th for all food and drink. 1.4 billion people live on $2, and they make it go much further then just food and drink.

We are living in poverty, for poverty. All proceeds go to the Oaktree Foundation, to help the recently opened school in PNG stay in operation. Kids from Yangis haven't had access to a school or education in over 20 years, until the Oaktree Foundation established a school.

Intial Stages

Hannah started up a list of all the groceries we need and the prices. So far we have got all the prices at aldi, woolworths and coles. We still have to look at more places.

We found we can get 750gms of porriage for $1.00 at aldi. That gives us 13 meals, hence good value. We both hadnt rally had porriage until last week, however now trying (note trying) to like it haha.
